China's Southwest province Sichuan, home of beautiful mountains, rivers, unique spices and native plants, holds a long-known name for its staple food of various vegan cooking.
Influenced from the recipes of home-cooking delicacies to the childhood memories of the street food vendors, Shu puts in an innovated modern Chinese kitchen in Melbourne's inner north Collingwood, presenting a healthy and tasty vegan degustation with its contemporary approach to combining traditional Sichuan flavours with the fresh, seasonal and local produce.
SHU also has been working with vegan wine makers from local and interstate vineyards, carefully selecting complimentary vegan wines to complete the ultimate degustation experience. A wider range of hand crafted beer and ciders have added to the list recently.
This 10 couse vegan degusation will take you through the culinary journey of Shu's from iconic appetisers to delicious street snacks to the comforting shared dishes. Each course are prepared with thoughts, love and adventurous experiments. Please allow one hour to an hour and half to enjoy the dinner.
Matching vegan wines and dessert are available as an option.
